India’s startup ecosystem is rapidly gaining global attention and this recently in May, Agsure Innovations Pvt. Ltd. proudly represented the country on an international stage at Coffex Istanbul 2025, Turkey’s largest and most prestigious coffee fair.
While most exhibitors brought coffee beans from around the world, Agsure brought something truly unique - AI-powered technology for real-time coffee bean analysis. As the only Indian tech innovation featured at the event, Agsure’s Coffee Bean Analyzer turned heads, drawing attention from coffee experts and buyers across continents - from Uganda to Indonesia, Italy to South America.
This smart, AI & ML-powered device can instantly grade coffee beans, detect defects, measure bean size (length & breadth), count total beans, and assess damage - all within just seconds. It’s a revolutionary tool designed to support farmers, exporters and roasters in making fast, data-backed decisions, eliminating the manual inefficiencies that still persist in many coffee-producing countries.
“Coffee is still analyzed manually in many regions. Our technology changes the game,” said Mr. Abhinav Mahajan, Founder of Agsure Innovations.
“Being part of the official Indian delegation was a proud moment. The global response was overwhelming - our next goal is to enter new international markets.”
The innovation is backed by Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) under the PABI (Punjab Agri Business Incubator) program. Agsure was honored to be selected by PAU-PABI to represent India at the event held from May 9–11.
In addition to the Coffee Bean Analyzer, Agsure also showcased Agreap, a mobile-friendly ERP application designed to streamline inventory, procurement, and payments for agribusinesses - making operations more accessible and efficient, especially for MSMEs and smallholder networks.
The delegation from PAU included eminent figures like Dr. M.S. Bhullar (Director of Extension Education), Dr. T.S. Riar (Principal Investigator, PABI), and Dr. Poonam Sachdev (Co-Principal Investigator, PABI). In a joint statement, they praised Agsure’s efforts, stating:
“Innovation is not only about technology but its relevance to market needs. Grain Quality Analyzer addresses a real-time problem for both exporters and producers, enhancing India’s value-added contribution in the global coffee value chain.”
This moment is more than just a tech showcase - it’s a testament to make in India innovation gaining recognition on a global scale. Agsure’s participation not only elevated India’s presence at Coffex Istanbul but also signaled a strong future for agri-tech solutions driven by AI and ML.
As Agsure continues to brew new innovations, one thing is clear - this is just the beginning.
